High potential and gifted education
At Murrumburrah High School, we are committed to providing comprehensive High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) opportunities through a diverse range of programs and experiences designed to challenge and inspire students. Through academic, cultural, sporting, and extracurricular experiences, we support high potential and gifted students to develop their skills, explore their interests, and achieve their full potential. Our inclusive and supportive learning environment recognises and nurtures each student’s unique strengths, encouraging them to embrace challenge and pursue their goals with confidence.

What is high potential and gifted education?
High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE) is how our school supports students with advanced learning needs.
We do this through:
- effective teaching strategies like explicit teaching, enrichment and extension
- tailored support during lessons that stretch, challenge and inspire
- access to a wide range of opportunities both within and beyond our school.
