Year 7, 2026 Orientation Day #1 - All Schools
Date: Tuesday, 18 November 2025
Time: 9.00 am to 3.25 pm
We’re excited to welcome our future Murrumburrah High School students for the Year 7 Orientation Day! This special day gives students a chance to experience high school life, meet teachers, explore classrooms, and make new friends. It’s a great opportunity to get a feel for the school and start building confidence for the year ahead.
Excursion: Parliament House Visit
Date: Monday 24 November 2025
Time: 8.30 am to 7.00 pm
On Monday, 24 November, Year 9, 10 and 11 students will travel to Canberra to explore Australia’s democratic institutions. The day includes guided tours of the new and old Parliament Houses, visits to the Parliamentary Education Office and the National Electoral Education Centre, a chance to observe Question Time, and participate in a mock parliamentary debate. Students will also learn about the history of voting in Australia and meet our local member, Michael McCormack, MP.
Year 7, 2026 Orientation Day #2 - Small Schools Only

We’re looking forward to welcoming Year 7, 2026 students from our partner primary small schools to Murrumburrah High for their second Orientation Day! This day is designed to help students get to know our staff, meet new friends, and experience the exciting opportunities high school has to offer in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Presentation Assembly

Join us as we celebrate the achievements and successes of our students at Murrumburrah High School’s End of Year Presentation Day. This special event recognises academic excellence, personal growth, and outstanding contributions to our school community. We look forward to coming together to reflect on a wonderful year and to acknowledge the hard work and dedication of our students and staff.
